Barclays PLC Credit card department,
When I got my Wyndham Rewards Visa Signature card last year, - of the terms on the card was that on every anniversary, I will receive - Wyndham Rewards points. The anniversary is in -/-/- ( so its almost 4 months into the year now ) and I still have n't received my rewards points. I initially reached out to Wyndham and they redirected me to Barclays bank because Barclays bank services the card. I reached out to Barclays several times in the past couple of months and they keep asking me to wait. When I called in -/-/- they told me that the points will be credited on -/-/2016. Today is -/-/2016 and that has n't happened so I called them again and again same story where another team handles the issue and the customer service team ca n't really do anything to expedite the process. As a customer I expect the points to be credited in a timely manner without me having to follow up several times. In exceptional scenarios when things go wrong and I do have to follow up, I expect customer service to solve the issue on the first call and/or give me a definitive date on when it will be resolved - not just kicking the can down the road expecting the customer to eventually give up. I want to use these points to book a reservation for an upcoming trip and ca n't because Barclays would n't credit it in a timely manner.
