JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
I defaulted on a Chase credit card due to our business going bankrupt after the real estate crash and our failed economy. I have been trying for years to settle the debt but Chase has written off my debt but refuses to remove the judgement from my credit report and a low credit score is keeping me from recovering financially from this loss. Chase holds my first and second mortgage and will not allow me to refinance. Why do the banks get bailed out, get to write off the bad debt, and still ding my credit report every month and will not do anything to remove this judgement form my credit report. Where are my rights here? I want to settle but I can ; t but no one keeps them from still hurting me as a consumer. This is 6 years old now. The Chase Judgement is for $9800.00, case # - filed - -, 2010. HELP!!!!
