JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
Dear Sirs, I appreciate your attention with this matter. It has to do with a computer my daughter and I purchased from -. It was found to be a three year old used computer so we immediately sent it back. They kept the computer and never refunded our money of $330.00 After many hours of being on hold with several unsuccessful attempts to speak with a - representative, we finally wrote them inquiring about the refund. They responded with a simple statement that they have now closed my - account. They have given no further communication. We then notified Chase Dispute Department. Chase eventually denied our request. - had stated they never received back the computer. Upon calling the Dispute Department as to why it was denied the representative stated our case seemed valid and suggested we reapply with a another dispute request and attach the tracking proof. This we did providing even the name of the employee who signed for it ( See Attachment ). Yet this dispute was also eventually denied. Upon calling the Dispute Department once again, as to why it was denied, this representative also felt that - wronged us and suggested
be reviewed, placed in your file, but no response will be sent. '' This is why we are requesting the help of CFPB. -- clearly misrepresented there product. -- clearly stonewalled any communication that would enable the matter to be resolved. -- mislead Chase into believing they never received the computer. -- has our money and we have no computer. Yet - states " the transaction is valid ''. How is this a valid transaction? In the 7 years that - is listed with the - they have almost 3,000 formal complaints against them. Many of these complaints speak of the fraudulent misrepresentation of their products. The vast majority reflect - almost complete disregard to correct any of its errors committed against their clients. Of the 22 years my wife and I have been with Chase we believed you to be a force to help protect us from fraudulent practices. We have directed our young daughter whose account is listed here to believe the same way. Please help us! Please get our money back.
