JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement California
A month ago I was looking to go back to work. I was emailed by a " foreign company '' asking me to fill out an employment application online because they wanted to hire me for a purchasing position. I filled out the application and the next day they said they wanted to hire me and have me start right away, however, they needed time to issue me a company credit card and so wanted me to use my credit cards to begin purchasing products and sending them to their customers. They would give me account information which would allow me to transfer money onto my credit cards and after the money had posted they wanted me to purchase items and send them to clients. After about - weeks I started noticing that the wire transfers that I had made were being sent back to the banks and the reason given was, " no authorization '' for transfers. I did n't even know the credit cards companies could send the money back without talking to me first so I immediately went to both credit cards and asked them to shut down the accounts and not send any of the transfers
finally copitulate and shut down the account so that no further funds could be sent back, however, the other credit card company would not do anything to help me no matter who I spoke with. I did file a report with my local law enforcement agency and the FBI but that did n't matter to the credit card company. I now have to payback a healthy amount to that credit card company and I am not getting any direction from local law enforcement or the FBI so I do n't know how long I can keep the other credit card company from unlocking my account and sending the funds back to the scammers. The other credit card company who sent all the funds back wo n't see this as a scam ( because they have never heard of a situation like this ) and on top of the many insults I have had to endure from them, I will have no choice but to pay the money back and will not be able to utilize my credit card while I am doing so.
