Amex Credit card department,
I prepaid for - hotel rooms on -/-/- - - for me and - for my parents ) on AmEx travel using my AmEx credit card. When we were checking out on -/-/-, the NH - hotel claimed that it was not prepaid so we paid again since the confirmation was n't clear cut that the rooms were prepaid. I disputed the charge. My parents were refunded on -/-/- but it 's been over 2 months and I still have not been refunded. The hotel actually charged my credit card on -/-/- and then promptly refunded that charge, but I have not been refunded the charge on -/-/-. AmEx Travel and AmEx credit card have been completely incompetent. I have called several times and have been told that there are no disputes open even though I 've received confirmations that I opened a dispute. This is incredibly frustrating.
