Equifax Credit reporting department,
Incorrect information on credit report Public record Georgia
I have notified Equifax numerous of times through phone calls and through - certified letters. No response from Equifax!! Pertaining to my Chapter - Bankruptcy that has been placed on my credit report. I understand that my bankruptcy remains on my public report. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court and credit bureau are not affiliated in any manner and the court is unaware of their process and or procedures for reporting or removal of information from a credit report. In addition, the U.S Bankruptcy Court does not report or verify information with the credit bureaus. The credit bureau have their own procedure for retrieving information from the public record of the U.S Bankruptcy Court and the court has no knowledge in this regard. I ask Equifax to validate ( -x 's ) with the United States Bankruptcy and provide me with copies of and documentation associated with my Bankruptcy, bearing my signature. After, the - attempts and no response, because they ca n't show me proof with my signature. Failure to respond satisfactorily within 30 days, will result in a small claims legal actions against the company. I will be seeking a minimum of $5000.00 in damages for violation of the Fair Collection Practices Act, Negligent of Identity fraud and Defamation. I formally request that this information be immediately be deleted from my credit report.
