Closing/Cancelling account New Jersey
I have been a SAMS CLUB member over 10 years, and I just find out they sold a unpaid bill under my name to a collection angency and placed on my credit report totally out of my knowlege. This unpaid bill is for a creadit card that I have never ever received, neither a actual creadit card nor a single paper statement! Therefore I called SAMS CLUB, - of their representative told me the account was closed, he can not give me any information but only a number for the Debt collector. This is insane and not a proper way to treat a royal customer. On my credit report, it shows there is just - original charge of $170.00, and fees add to it every month, the amount had increased to $320.00.
