Citibank Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account North Carolina
Citibank recently closed an account I have had with them for 5+ years for no valid reason I can ascertain. My payment history and account management has been impeccable. I have never been late on a payment, always paying more than the minimum even completely some months, and stayed within my limits to the best of my ability. I may have gone over by $10.00 or less once or twice but always made a payment to resolve the balance before the next billing cycle. Now they have sent me a letter stating they are not going to renew my card since it has expired. I do n't know if this violates any consume laws or is just bad policy but I felt the need to report it. Thank you for any advice or insight you can give on this matter.
