Experian Credit reporting department,
Credit monitoring or identity protection Billing dispute Massachusetts
I used Experian to access my annual free credit report ( which came with a $1.00 fee ). I was unaware that doing so had signed me up for a service. Last night I saw that a charge for $21.00 had posted to my card, so I followed up by logging into Experian to investigate. I cancelled a service I did not know I had been signed up for. I called customer service, and they were unable to refund my money because more than 24 hours had passed since they charged me. This is an unreasonably short amount of time for someone to be expected to check their credit card statement for serviced they never knowingly subscribed to.
