Incorrect information on credit report Public record California

State of California - posted Erroneous state tax lien $260.00. When they investigated after I disputed, they released the lien as, to cancel erroneous lien no fee required, - and - has deleted this from my report. Equifax refuses to delete erroneous information, even after sending certified copies from the County Recorders Office to them. They stated once they information it stays seven years, no exceptions, they have the right to destroy credit.
