Wakefield and Associates has place a " paid '' collection on my - and - credit file AFTER it was paid in full. I sent them a certified letter asking them to remove it and they only sent back a letter saying it was paid in full. This letter is not sufficient for the credit bureaus to remove from my file. Wakefield and Associates placed the collection on my report and therefore, they need to request to have it removed. Per copies of my credit file, the collection from removed and placed back on my credit file without me being notified at least 5 days before. I have already filed a claim against the credit bureau for breaking the law.FCRA 611, Procedure in case of disputed accuracy [ 15 U.S.C. 1681i ]
