U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,
I have - - Bank Credit Cards, serviced by Elan Financial at - - - -, - ND -. I am current with all my payments. Over the past several month they have done - or - " hard '' credit inquiries with the credit bureaus. When I talk to the credit card service center they tell me there is only - hard inquire done when you initially get your credit card. After that, they do soft inquiries which do not impact your score. This continual hard inquiries sometimes twice a month is driving down my credit score and making it difficult for me to do business. I sent them a letter a month ago with no response at this point. I ca n't seem to get anyones attention. When I sent the letter to Elan telling them the problem I attached a copy of my credit report highlighting the enquires. I do not have that with me here at the office today to attach.
