Bank of America Credit card department,
Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement Florida
I have contacted Bank of America NUMEROUS times about identity theft I was experiencing. Bank of America still refuses to cooperate and remove the fraudulent account from their systems and my credit report. I have submitted police reports, my identifying information, and proof of military service to them repeatedly. They keep claiming I am responsible for the credit card even after proving I was not even in the country. I was - at the time the credit card was opened. Despite my diligent efforts, Bank of America refuses to remove the debt and ask the credit bureaus to remove the fraudulent account. Currently there is a balance owed of over - on the card. I have spoken with managers and representatives with no resolution. My next step will be legal action through the necessary courts for a lawsuit.
