Disclosure verification of debt right to dispute notice not received
Hunter Warfield, Inc. Debt collection department,
I do not know Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received South Carolina
Hunter Warfield ( Collection Agency ) is attempting to collect a debt that is unknown to me. On -/-/- and -/-/- I received collection letters from Hunter Warfield on behalf of - - and -. These letters were the first and only contact received by me. It appears that - - is attempting to collect $430.00 and - $500.00 ) for what? I do not know. I moved out of - - Apartments upon proper notice ( 60 plus days prior ) on - -, -. I began living there -/-/-. During the signing of the lease I was offered a Surety Bond ( I assume - ) it was explained to me by the employee who signed me, as a way not to pay a deposit, which was subject to be returned at the termination of my lease. However, if I were to pay $86.00 for the bond with no expectation of refund then all I had to do was end the lease. Any damage, or other expectation would be covered by the bond. I agreed to pay for the bond. I paid my rent on time for the next three years. Then, I get these letters this month demanding payment for the above stated amounts. There was no prior written notification nor explanation for these requests. Just the collection letters with the threat of debt reporting to the national credit bureaus. I do not owe these people money and am requesting that they STOP these attempts of collection.
