I am showing - collection accounts on my credit from Americollect. It states they are collecting for - -. I have a few issues with this collection agency. The first is I never received a notice from this collection agency to dispute or validate the debt. I had to call - - to find out what this was, who stated they sent a - balance to Americollect. The last statement I received from them was - 2015. Only recently I checked my credit to find Americredit reporting not - account for - but - accounts for -. It seems to have been opened with them around -/-/2015. Not only did I not receive written notice from this collector, they are not following guidelines of the FACT act. This debt collector continues to report this debt each month as if there has been activity on this account or payment is being made. My credit score recently dropped - points because they are reporting this over a year old debt as a new debt. Overtime this account should have a less affect on my credit.
