Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting my free annual report California

Hi, I just attempted to obtain a free copy of my credit report from Equifax online, using the official website listed by the FTC ( - ). I was able to get to the Equifax free report website and provided all the requested information. Without any explanation ( i.e., no message that my information was incorrect ), the site directed me to fill out a paper form and send it by traditional mail. The paper form required a lot of additional personal information that is not required for obtaining an online report. By doing this, I believe that Equifax is attempting to circumvent the free online service that it is required to provide. Please look into this issue. Thanks.
