I filed a Chapter - Bankruptcy on - -, - which was subsequently discharged on on - - -. Citimortgage possessed a junior lien, $72000.00, on my property that was subsequently stripped by the Chapter - Bankruptcy Judge on - -, - due to the property being upside down. The last payment on this account posted on -/-/-. Throughout this ordeal, Citibank Bankruptcy reGoing further, Citibank accepted a payment in error of $380.00 and was subsequently ordered to refund the payment as it was sent to the in error by the Chapter - Trustee. This payment was credited as a returned payment on -/-/-. Citimortage never received a payment after this date and per the order from the bankruptcy judge, their lien was removed from the property as the property was upside down in value. Citibank has reported the wrong amount owed as well as the last payment made to the - major credit bureaus in an attempt to re-age the account. I have reached out to this company numerous times. They have refused to update their records. They are in fact violating the law as their claim was stripped and reporting the total amount of the debt to be approximately - dollars which is inaccurate.
