I applied for a credit card and received a letter asking for more information from their " security department. '' I sent in the requested documentation and have proof of receipt 10 days later. The company failed to contact me again about the status of my application. I called to inquire and was told they would have to run another credit report in order to approve my application because it was beyond 30 days since my initial application.
