I am disputing a debt form - - that was transferred to the debt collection company of Firstsource Advantage LLC. I owed - an original debt of something like - for annual usage fee. I do n't really use this card all that much so I wanted to pay off that balance and close the account. They said my best option was to use the points that I earned over time and convert that to $ $ $ pay off the balance and close the account. I said great, that is what I will do, please use my points to pay off the balance and close the account. I even had - or something unused points left which amounted to like - dollars that I simply was forfeiting to close the account. Well, months later I continue to get billed by -. I said I paid this balance and my account should be closed. The monthly Bills kept coming much to my surprise. When I called them and tried to explain the account should have been paid off, they said we are going to refer your account to collections. I guess they were serious. I once again called - to


that the interest will keep accumulating. I offered a partial settlement to make it " go away '' and they refuse saying I need to pay entirely which is now $260.00. I feel this is completely unfair by Firstsource and - when all I wanted to do was close my account on a card that is not useful to me. I tried to setttle, I tried to do pay it off, and no one wants to listen. All they want is MONEY MONEY MONEY. This debt was paid .... unfortunately, I do not really have any supporting documents ... ... The only thing that would PROVE MY CASE is listening to the conversation I had with - that PROVES I used my points to pay off my debt and CLOSE my account.
