Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Customer service / Customer relations Indiana
Hi, I 'm submitting a complaint against Care Credit/Synchrony Bank due to being misinformed about billing payment options for my account. I talked with a chat representative whose name is - - on -/-/16 at - Eastern time, Reference # -. The inquiry was, if I can pay my bill with a credit card? His response was credit card payments are n't excepted but that I can ask my credit card company if they have a bill pay option ( which they do n't ) or I can use - -. The problem is the - - information he gave me is incorrect and/or is unrecognizable by -. The - representative ( - ) whom I talked to by phone on -/-/16 at - Eastern time, told me that there is n't a code city name and POS name that was given to me ( POS name : Synchrony Bank - - - name : - ) in their system.
in their account on that date. Most businesses give you more than one option to pay your account bill. It seems like they want you to be late paying your bill so they can tack on the late fees and interest charges, which is ridiculously high, if you do n't pay on time and with only one option to pay. I 've changed my billing date before and I do n't feel like I have to keep doing that to make a timely payment, when other payment options should be available in order to make a timely payment. I would like to know why I was given the wrong information and why there is n't other options to make a payment on the account and/or payoff the account, besides using your personal banking account. I 'm already paying a late fee of $27.00 from last month which was n't late, but was charged anyway, because the money was there in the account, in addition to the $100.00 a month bill payment. I hope this issue can be resolved before my next due date which is -/-/16. I pretty sure I 'm not the only consumer whose had complaints about this company. Thanks.
