Citibank Credit card department,
signed up thru Home Depot account ( Citi group ) Payment was made thru this system. Received an alert for change on credit report, upon investigation it was determined this was the account that alerted. I received NO indication that this was an issue, however I continued to receive marketing materials from them. I contacted HD credit card services they initially stated that there was some problem in processing. Best they came up with was that the routing number information must have been entered wrong. No answer given was in any attempt to rectify this issue just excuses. Was forwarded up the chain and was told that when the payment was made they would forward that for consideration for removal. Was given the run around when asked when this would be removed and why was I not notified of this issue before the credit report was made. As of today that account will be current to satisfy the issue however i received no satisfactory answer as to this report on my credit.
