When I logged into my American Express account, I saw that I had a targeted offer. The offer was " Apply for an Upgrade to the - card from American Express ''. The terms of the offer stated that, if I was approved, I would earn - - - points after spending $3000.00 in 3 months. I met the terms of the offer within this time period, but the - points were not credited to my account. I contacted American Express several times, and each time they said I was not eligible for the offer. I think this is a bait and switch move. If I was not eligible for the offer, then why did American Express target me through my account website. I have a screen shot of the offer from when I logged into my American Express account.
