Amex Credit card department,
I filed for chapter - protection 5 years ago and discharged/paid off the protection. I tried to get a home equity loan for repairs because a negitve by American Express still on my report that should be removed since they were - of the creditors that were part of the bankruptcy. Why is this negative report still on my credit report.
