Wells Fargo & Company Student loan department,

Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Received bad information about my loan Washington

Graduated in - - and moved out of state 2Months later. I opened a checking n savings account with Wells Fargo in my new state of residence in - and since I deposit my check old school, always chit chatting with tellers n personal bankers here in Washington State. I got concerned that I was n't getting any notice/mail to start paying my personal student loan. I asked at least 4times on when my 1st payment was due. The personal banker here in federal way branch ( - - ) and in This is WA reassured me that no payment was showing in the system as due n reiterated that when the first payment was due, I 'd get a statement or something in the mail in advance. Reassured, I let the matter go only bringing it from time to time. You can imagine the horror when one Saturday in - -, I received a call on my cellphone informing me I was 2 months late!!! They 'd reported me as past due without any notification of first/any

notice informing me my payments were scheduled to start BUT that was to my former college apartment address. Apparently my current address in WA was too hard to find even though I have two accounts ( Checking & Savings ) that I get monthly statements from Wells Fargo for every single month! I was proactive and escalated my complaint all the way to the executive team where a team member promised resolution by erasing the reported delinquency as I was not properly notified. Needless to say, a couple weeks later while waiting for something in writing to correct that, another team member named - called me back. Chest thumping started neither she nor anyone else was going to fix the mess. So here we are, I 've decided to NOT make a single payment n closed ALL my accounts withdrawing over $7000.00 in balance that was enough to pay back over 70 % I owe till this mess is fixed. Enough is enough. Waiting for my say in court.
