None of the options listed above describe the situation I had. My issue with Americollect is that I have never heard ANYTHING from them. I went to apply for an apartment and this was not a big enough deal for me to not get the apartment but they have had outstanding debt that they have never tried to contact me about for two years now and it seems to have tripled in size because of the delinquency. I am happily going to pay the debt as soon as their office is open, I am just extremely upset about the lack of an attempt to contact me in what seems like a blatant attempt to grow the size of the debt.
