Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Customer service / Customer relations Florida
I emailed my Walmart credit card bank " sychrony bank '' requesting my due date be moved back from - of month to - of month. I get a reply that they could not do this and I would need to call them. I Did, could not connect and did not ring. My request to them was due to me being retired military my payday is - of month however if - is on Sat or a Fri holiday pay does n't post till - so I set up my bill withdrawal dates for the -. However this month the - fell on a Sunday and of course the - was a holiday so my bank did not post payment until the - which is my due date for the credit card in question. For some reason banks take two to three days to do a electronic transaction? I 'm not sure why but assume it is " profit '' driven. Anyway, Sure as rain I get a $35.00 late fee charged to my account because they did not receive my banks posting on the - until the -. It is amazing to me how fast the can do a late fee transaction but takes two to three days to send numbers back and forth? Can I be charged a late fee when my bank posts the payment same day as the due date? If they can not resolve issues via internet/online e accounts and their " - '' phone number is n't working what are you suppose to do? I think the reason I am having difficulty with this bank is purely " GREED '' driven.
