Citibank Credit card department,
I opened a credit card through Costco for my business. It was run by - -. It was a new credit card so the billing date was new to me and I was late in some of my payments by a day or maybe up to a week but I never missed a payment. They are now charging me an outrageous 29.49 % interest rate on my account balance of $24000.00. Now that Costco has purchased these accounts from - - and now run them through Citi Bank they are still insisting that I pay the 29.49 % interest rate. I thought that the new laws protected customers if they were a few days late on a payment?
