Bank of America Credit card department,
Bank of America sent me a targeted offer of - miles if I opened a credit card with them. They approved the card, and I completed the minimum spend. I received - miles. I filed a complaint with them, and they told me I had to apply for a credit line increase to get the remaining - miles, as I did not have sufficient deposit and investment accounts with them. The promo material for this offer does not include the stipulation that I have to have certain investment or deposit accounts with them to receive the offer as promised. I have been a Bank of America customer for many decades, having - accounts and a mortgage. My credit score is well above average. They then told me if I requested a credit line increase in three months, the missing miles would be credited. But what they did not tell me was that I would have to let them run my credit for a second time, and reduce my credit score by doing this. This information was left out. Since my credit score will be the same in three months as it was when I applied, they are showing that they are not intending deliver the miles that were promised when I signed up for their offer. This is an unresolved issue, and is unfair.
