Wells Fargo sent me a letter telling me I was " ..among a select group of valued customers receiving an automatic upgrade to the Wells Fargo Signature Card. '' It went on to explain that this " upgrade '' would happen without any input from me, and listed " benefits '' none of which were actually of any benefit whatsoever to me. In fact, there were changes in the fine print to the minimum payment calculation that would be detrimental to me under certain circumstances. I am complaining because 1 ) the claim that this is an " upgrade '' is totally fraudulent ; 2 ) the change was made unilaterally- rather than asking me if I would be interested in the change, I was informed the change would be made automatically unless I made a phone call, costing me valuable time for no good reason.
