Citibank Credit card department,
I have a charge card with Home Depot/Citibank. I had a outstanding balance of $2.00 which I made a payment on time, in cash, at a Home Depot store. I Saved receipt. Citibank claimed they never received it. After calling three times to clear up. They continued charging my account interest payment for 2 months which they reported to credit agency as a failure to pay. My credit score went from - to -. I finally went to store and addressed the payment I made of $2.00 on -/-/16. They discovered the cashier applied my payment to wrong account. Called back Citibank with Home Depot manager on the phone and she explained the error and we both were told they would take care of the mistake. They would apply the payment I made, reverse the interest charges and contact credit reporting agencies of there mistake. As of today they have not repaired my credit, reversed charges. I have personally talked to 2 Citibank supervisors, 2 regular agents that tolded me they would take care of this. No action. Please file a complaint and attempt to repair this situation of credit fraud. Thank You, - - - - - - - # - -, CA - -
