Medical Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt Florida

I noticed a debt from Account Resolution Services on - -. The debt was placed on my credit report in 2011. I sent ARS a certified letter requesting their info, the original creditor 's info, verification, and a lot more info for verification. They sent a letter back simply stating they verified the debt and the amount they say I owe. The debt is from - - - of Maryland. I called the hospital, who put me in touch with another number that handles the billing for the physicians. Then given - other numbers with no success at finding the bill or who is handling it. I called ARS and spoke to a lady, she stated that she did not know the contact info for them. I questioned how they would send them the money if I was to pay the debt, even though I do n't know what this debt is for. She simply stated that they could. I called back the next day, asked a lady named - the same questions, received the same response. I asked to speak with a supervisor. A gentleman called me back the next day. I asked him the same questions. He refused to give me any info but said he had it. I then placed him on hold, came back and stated that I was recording the rest of the conversation. He refused to give permission and still refused to give me any information. Obviously they are hiding the original creditor 's info for a reason. Maybe they want the money for themselves. I simply want this resolved. Any help that you could give me would be much appreciated. Thank you.
