JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
I have along history of credit excellence with an excellent credit score and no missed payments over 34 years. I applied for a Chase - card in -, a Chase - Business Card in - and an - Rewards card in -. All - applications were rejected. When I called to inquire about the rejections, Chase stated that the rejection was based on having more than - cards opened over a 24 month period. I pulled my credit report that showed I had - cards open over two years. If I would have known this information, I would not have applied for the credit cards. In fact, all - cards had offers on the for bonuses if you spend a certain amount within a stated time period. Of course, my credit score decreased because Chase pulled my credit report three times. Because the - rule was never stated or some kind of warning as the possibility of rejection with more than - cards open over two years, I believe Chase has harmed my credit score my requesting the " hard pulls '' on my credit report. If I would have know beforehand that rejections are common for - cards or over, I would have not applied. The consumer is being harmed by Chase because of their unstated rules. I would like Chase to remove the - hard pulls from my credit report.
