In -, 2015, I received notice that the interest rate on - of my Guaranty Bank credit cards through Elan Services, was going to nearly double without any justified reason. I sent in a written notice as was procedure that clearly stated I did not authorize any interest rate increase or closing of my account due to my refusal to have the interest nearly double without any justified reason. I never received a response and Elan began charging me the increased interest rate. In doing so, they raised my minimum amount due on a monthly basis by such a large margin that it became impossible to pay the full amount each month. I have made multiple attempts to contact the company and inform them that they had received notice in a timely manner that raising the interest rate was not authorized, but the company has blatantly disregarded the information that I have attempted to provide to them.
