Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
Obtained a Wells Fargo Visa Rewards card, and was upgraded to the - Platinum Rewards card. According to the online marketing information, I was eligible to receive " Unlimited 5x points on grocery store purchases! '' ( that wording has since been removed from their site. I made purchases that did not violate the T & C 's ( - ), and was sent a letter telling me to cease all purchases that they considered to be against their T & C 's after receiving the letter, else they would be closing my account. I immediately stopped using the card, and they cancelled my account two days later. I had - - rewards points available to me that were placed in a pending status with a date of -, then it was moved to -, then said " frozen '' and I could not redeem them. Now on the site they simply say " forfeited ''. I did nothing against the Terms and Conditions I signed up for, and Wells Fargo took away all of the rewards I used from their card ( rewards I could have earned elsewhere, but chose to do business with them ). I called and they said they could not do anything about the account being closed. Now I have a closed by creditor account on my credit report, and they took all my rewards away.
