U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,
US Bank decided to significantly change the benefits of their - - card while I was out of the country. At the same time my annual fee was due and autopayed. I called in and was told by a customer service representative that because of the benefits change I could cancel my card and get a refund for the annual fee that was paid. I waited a few months but I never received a refund. I then called back and spoke to them again and they said they would look into it, but they denied my request. I was also told by the customer service representative that they would be eliminating the anniversary bonus of - bonus points as well. It turns out that was a lie and they were not eliminating the anniversary bonus, so I did n't even get the bonus points for paying the fee because I was lied to.
