I opened a Chase Bank Business Account in - -, CA on - -, 2016. The Business name is - -, -. We funded the account with ~ $30000.00 and the check cleared. 5 days after the account was opened I received a letter ( attached ) stating the account was being closed IMMEDIATELY because of " suspicious activity '' " or because we have n't received information that we requested from you. '' No information had ever been requested of me. I contacted my branch who referred me to a - number. I called and attempted to verify what the problem was, but I was told by an employee that they could not tell me why the account was closed. I quoted them the letter, and they told me that, these were not the reasons but they could not divulge further information to me. There has been no suspicion of fraudulent activity on the account. The employee refused to provide her name or employee number. Finally, when I told the employee that I wanted to retrieve my $30000.00, I was told that they money was on hold and that I could not retrieve it presently.
