Credit reporting company's investigation inadequate help over the phone
Experian Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Inadequate help over the phone California
I called and spoke with an Experian rep to put in a dispute against inaccurate information on my credit report, against - - - acct # - and - - acct # -. Both are in a collections status for the same account, so they are duplicates of each other. Neither accounts are mine. I explained that to the rep and referenced my - acct that was in good status, paid and never late, acct # - ( see attachment ). I opened that account in - 2006 and closed it some time ago. The Experian rep said I was added to the good status account by another cardholder, but could not tell me who. She was incorrect. I was the primary cardholder for that account and asked her to send proof of my being a secondary holder. She vowed to investigate with hesitation. When I received an updated credit report, after the dispute, my good standing account for - ( - ... ) was deleted from the report and the two negative accounts that duplicated themselves, - - ( - ) and - ( - ) still remained. Experian sent no expalantion, no documentation, abused their powers and adjusted my credit report as they saw fit. Experian needs to delete the - negative accts of - - and - ( - ... ) and add the good acct of - ( ( - ... ) back to my credit report.
