Citibank Credit card department,
I received several late fees, and realized without my consent or knowledge Macy 's changed my last name on both of my credit card account ending in # - & # -, which prevented me from receiving timely statement. Although I made payments on both accounts for due date - -, -, Macy 's is showing both accounts past due demanding I pay an addition $37.00 on each account or will report the accounts late with the credit bureaus. In addition Macy 's is demanding a higher payment amount for next cycle billing based on their internal errors which created a problem with accurate reporting of information to the credit bureaus. This erogenous error has impacted my credit score and reporting with the - credit bureaus and to date Macy 's is refusing to acknowledge the mistake, provided written documentation of who authorized the name change and why this information was changed. I had these account since -, and the account has been under the name - - -, on or around - -, Macy 's without my knowledge or consent change the name on the account to - - -, Macy 's is refusing to correct their error within their system and with the credit report bureaus. This was done intentionally as retaliation for several complaints I filed with CFPB in regards to Macy 's illegal practices with manipulating the consumer credit scores and increasing the consumers line of credit during the holiday season to increase sale.
