Citibank Credit card department,
My Costco - was taken over by Citi Cards. I have a balance on the card of -. When Citi took the card over, they gave me a credit limit of $3700.00, which put my account into arrears, and they stated I had to pay $1400.00 to put the account into good standing. My complaint is if they did not want to extend more credit to me, they had to give me a credit limit of at least my balance, so as not to put my account into arrears and cause me additional undue stress. Seems like an unfair and deceptive practice.
