Last year, I applied for the citi at & t access more card credit on the citibank 's website and got approved. On either their website or the card agreement I received, it is clearly stated that I will earn a annual bonus of - thank you points if I spend - dollars in the previous year. On - -, I called to check in how I am progressing in getting the benefit and when my next reward period starts, the representative told me, she told me she saw this as a one year promotion ending in - and said that this is just a one year thing and would not happen again in the next year. I asked to speak to a supervisor to check in what has happened because the representative said that she could not tell me more, while being totally shocked about this. I stayed on the line with her for about one and half hour to get transferred but she told me that the supervisors became to be unavailable from available because they were taking calls from the new costco cards customers. Afterwards, I contacted the customer service through online chat, and I got the same answer ( conversation enclosed ). I was so disappointed that they made such a discrimination here and about the way they lied in their marketing materials. I am considering this to be a fraud. I spent two and a half hour on this but am still not clear what is happening. If it does not get resolved soon, I will probably take legal action.
