I am a co-signer on my son 's student loan. During the consolidation process Well Fargo advised us not to make a payment, and that a late fee would be assessed. After the loan was consolidated, I called to have the late fee reversed it was not. The inclusion of the late fee caused the principal balance and the minimum payment to be greater than it otherwise would have been. I have been repeatedly promised that the error would be corrected. It has not, the inclusion of the late fee causes all future payments to be incorrect as well. In addition, there is no way to set up automatic payments, or access account information without my son 's permission even though I am a co-signer on the loan.
