I received a call from USBANK stating that the free Overdraft protection is not active on my account and they asked me if I want it activate, so I said yes ending the conversation with that. After, a couple of days I check my account and USBANK has made hard credit inquiry and have opened a new credit card without my permission. First of all they never told me that they are opening a new credit card They did not tell me, they were going to do a hard credit inquiry They did n't affirm my identity upon calling my phone number. I have also the recording of the conversation that I had with the USBank representative, where all I said was yes to overdraft protection.
