I am filing this complain against AMERICOLLECT INC and - - - for unfair business/collection practices. I received a collection notice -/-/- regarding an unpaid medical bill that I was not aware of. When I called the collection agency, they only wanted my information and immediate payment. Frustrated, I told them that I was not aware of this bill and they should not be collecting it therefore, I will not be providing any further information to them. right thereafter, I called my doctor 's office to voice my surprise and frustration regarding the situation. I was told that there may have been some mistakes but they will get back to me very soon. I never heard from them until today, - -, 2016 when I received an


I immediately called AMERICOLLECT INC and had a very complicated communication the account. I repetitively expressed my disagreement about the whole process. How/why am I being held hostage for an unknown-unpaid bill? Why has n't - - 's office return my phone call? From the collection company 's own statement, a claim was filed with my insurance and is pending. Yet, they still flagging my credit account for collection. I tried my best to tell the supervisor that my account can not be under collection as long as the claim is pending. Further, my Doctor 's office ought, by curtesy, to inform me if the insurance declines to pay the bill. I will then have the obligation to pay the money myself and solve the problem with my insurance. AMERICOLLECT agents want to pretend to help me while falsely assuming that I did not pay my bill and it went to collection. The supervisor wants to make be admit that she 's trying to help me. I feel insulted because I never asked for help. Should there be help to be provided, it would be for AMERICOLLECT and - - -. I simply ask for my right to be fully respected and nothing else.
