Earlier this week, I had a call come in that turned out to be someone attempting to get my bank information. I called Chase and let them know about the call and that I was concerned because someone apparently had at least some of my information. They verified that everything was fine with my account and not to worry. If anything came up, I would be contacted through their secure messaging. So yesterday, I was checking on my account and saw that a check that was supposed to be there, was n't. I verified that it was actually supposed to be in my account by yesterday and then called chase to find out what the hold up was. They verified that the money would be in my account by the end of the business day. They also said that there was a restriction on my account but not to worry.


tell me why. the representative would only say that Chase has the right to close any accounts without any warning or explaination. She did say that if I called today that I would be able to go and take my money out of the account today. So I called today. And was told that no, I could not take my money out today and that they would be sending me a check for the amount. So now are they not only closing my account without reason, but they are now holding my money hostage as well. I am at my wits end and I do not know what to do at this point.
