JPMorgan Chase & Co. Bank account or service department,
Checking account Account opening, closing, or management Washington
On or about - -, Chase bank closed my husband and my accounts. First my husband was paid on or about - -, a week ago. He found he could not access monies to move over to my account ( which were linked ). He was first told that his account was suspended for fraud? In which we were NEVER informed to find out that was n't the truth either, they 've known since and before our payroll hit that they were going to suspsend our accounts and never contacted us accordingly, which left us without knowing our rights and access to any monies left over from payroll/EFT depoists. Then a day later to find that it was suspeneded for mismanagement/NSF charges on Saturday and that we should be receiving a letter-we/I do not deny, however, I did not find out my account was also supspended until Monday, - -. We were NEVER notified in writing, and it has been well over a week since Chase audit departments initiated closing our accounts, hence, they should 've sent us a letter in advance, letting us know that our monies would be held to cover any overdrafts and or incoming transactions and
I find these practices unlawful and illegal in the since that I have no monies and because of a - situation, I was not able to quickly find out the status of my remaining funds, which could have left me in danger! To date, it has been well over a week and we were not notified via Chase secure server and other ways they could 've informed us that our monies would be withheld via the closiong our our accounts. I am not denying the reason for closing, but the illegal and deceptive way Chase has gone about this matter and not properly notifying in writing and what and when, what we can do about the matter, in regards to our rights and their right to just withhold/close our accounts with nothing in writing or a reprieve. I am a - veteran and my income in limited with a - issue happening in my home, which left me unable to pay many of the bills I need to - survive and to take care of myself.
