We filed Chapter - bankruptcy on - -, -. We had a home mortgage with SLS as the servicer. No notice was filed with the bankruptcy court pursuant to - indicating that there was any money owed on our second mortgage with SLS. No notices were filed in the entire case that indicated any fees were due. After requesting our payment history I found out that fees were charged on my account ostensibly related to the bankruptcy on - -, - and - -, - more than a month after our discharge. Neither fee was ever disclosed to us and we only learned of it when it showed up on our bill. This appears to be an improper collection of fees without providing the required notice.under the law.
