I opened a checking account with Chase bank. I funded the account and set up online banking. I attempted to login to my online banking and received an error message saying I had been locked out. I called Chase and was told that the bank had decided to close my account and that they were not obligated to tell me why. Since Chase is a creditor that uses credit reporting agencies - some specific to banking such as - - I feel like my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act have been violated. Given that JPMorgan Chase is a repeat offender of blatant FCRA violations I felt making this report should be necessary.
