Ford Motor Credit Company Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Georgia
On - -, -, my wife and I paid off our car loan with Ford Motor Credit. In - -, we had a 30 day late payment that was documented on our credit reports. Given that the original delinquency date is the date when an account first becomes past due, this account should be scheduled to be deleted in - -. However, we have checked all three credit reporting agencies and there is no date reported on our credit reports as to when this collection account will be remove. We have requested action to be executed by Ford Motor Credit numerous times to correct the report and place a removal date on file but their response has always been to deny the request and not follow the rule. As recently as - -, -, another request was turned away. At this juncture, we are seeking your intervention to assist our efforts to require Ford Motor Credit to abide by the rule of process.
