On -/-/2016 send a dispute to the Credit Reporting Agencies indicating that the account is not accurately reporting. Subsequently, on -/-/16 the Credit Reporting Agencies indicated that the collection agency verified to the credit reporting agency that the account was being reported accurately. On -/-/16 I faxed a letter to the collection agency to the attention of - -. The letter stated that i was not sure how they were able to verify accurate reporting and asked if they did in fact verify the reporting or if the credit reporting agency was at fault.


the debt exists. This is a violation of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act ( FDCPA ), the FCRA, and Federal and State statutes for fraudulent slander of credit and illegal reporting activities. Further, under California Civil Code 1785.26 a collection agency is to notify me within 30 days of reporting a collection account to my Credit report. Since they have failed to notify me of this, by phone or registered mail they are in violation of this code.
