Atlanticus Services Corporation Credit card department,
Fortiva has reported and damaged my credit intentionally. I called this credit card company on - -, 2016 to make payment in which their automated system advised my credit card was current and I owed - dollars. On - -, this credit card company called my cell via the dialer system and I spoke with a customer service rep who told me I was 30 days past due and I pay her one payment in the amount of $74.00 in which I did. Five minutes later I was contacted again via automated dialer on my cell phone and was told I was 60 days past due and should pay 2 payments. Then, I became confused because the reps could not explain my due date or my payment history. I then called back, got another rep on the phone and the third time was told something different. I asked if this would destroy my credit. All the reps kept saying was not to worry, everything was going to be okay and not report if I paid. I paid as instructed and now I am being reported 60 days on my credit. Fortiva has destroyed my credit with their poor customer service and misleading practices.
